Teusener Albert Shiraz 2022
A Barossa Shiraz with pedigree and swagger, sourced from old vines in Ebenezer and Moppa. Expect blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, and warm spice, wrapped in that signature Teusner richness without losing lift. It’s bold but beautifully shaped — the kind of Shiraz that fills the glass with generosity and finishes with real polish.
Teusner Wines is a boutique Barossa Valley producer founded in 2001 by winemaker Kym Teusner and Michael Page, built on a philosophy of preserving old vines and crafting wines that reflect Barossa’s heritage with a fresh, modern touch.
The story began when Teusner overheard growers planning to pull out 85-year-old Grenache vines. He stepped in, saved them, and launched a winery that now champions Grenache, Shiraz, and Mataro (Mourvèdre) in expressive, approachable blends. Known for minimal intervention, close grower relationships, and a playful irreverence, Teusner has become a 5-star Halliday-rated winery producing wines of character, generosity, and authenticity.
