A decade in bottle has turned this Riesling into something quietly spectacular.
Expect layers of dried apricot, marmalade, lemon preserve, jasmine and beeswax, all wrapped around that signature Pegasus Bay acidity. Tensile, bright, and carrying the wine into a long, gently dry finish. It’s medium‑dry in style but deeply complex, with spice, dried fruit and a touch of crystallised ginger adding warmth and depth. A beautiful example of how Waipara Riesling ages: concentrated, textural, and effortlessly graceful.

Pegasus Bay is one of North Canterbury’s benchmark producers, founded in 1985 by the Donaldson family. Pioneers of the Waipara Valley and still hands‑on across viticulture, winemaking, and hospitality. 
Their home vineyard sits on the free‑draining Glasnevin Gravels, a mix of silt, loam and greywacke that delivers naturally low vigour, slow ripening, and wines with concentration, tension, and unmistakable site expression.
