Ripe fruit balanced by tannins and acidity. A sinew of stem inclusion adds complexity, further harmonised by oak aging. Unique and unorthodox Syrah, ripe and complex with impressive power and purity.

2020 was an excellent year for Syrah on Waiheke Island, resulting in ripe, low-yielding fruit. Sourced from steep hillside vineyards on the eastern end of Waiheke Island. Hand-harvested and carefully sorted. Wild ferments, extended maceration, and 18 months of oak aging contribute to the wine's complexity and structure.
