Kavalan Soloist Peated Cask Strength 700mL
$330.00
A rare interpretation of peat through the lens of Taiwanese whisky, Kavalan Soloist Peated Single Cask Strength combines powerful cask-strength intensity with the distillery's vibrant fruit profile. Layers of tropical fruit, sweet spice and malt richness are framed by elegant peat smoke, creating a style that is more nuanced than overtly smoky. Complex, distinctive and bottled from a single cask, it offers a compelling alternative to traditional peated whiskies.
Founded in 2005 in Yilan County, Taiwan, Kavalan has become one of the most influential names in modern whisky. Working in Taiwan's subtropical climate, the distillery harnesses rapid maturation to produce whiskies of remarkable richness, texture and concentration at a relatively young age. Drawing on pristine water from Snow Mountain and an uncompromising focus on cask quality, Kavalan has earned international acclaim for redefining expectations of what world whisky can be, establishing itself as one of the benchmark producers outside the traditional whisky regions.
