A youthful but expressive Dalmunach finished for a very specific 51 months in three refill Pedro Ximenez hogsheads by bottler James Eadie. This small batch release shows rich sherry influence over a bright, modern Speyside malt.

Aromas of  butter popcorn, roasted cumin, raisins and malt loaf, with a hint of caramel and pecans.
The palate is rich,  with buttery digestive biscuits with salted caramel wafer, sugared almonds and a hint of spice.
A bright finish, Red apples, cinnamon buns and a touch of pepper.

The nose is tropical, with notes of mango and papaya joined by soft stone fruits, wax, a touch of hay, and hints of herbal tea.
Rich and creamy with notes of granola on the palate, floral honey, apricots, and yoghurt coated raisins.
The creaminess lingers, with soft notes of peach, a touch of green tea, and ginger biscuits.

James Eadie is a modern independent bottler with deep Victorian roots, built on the legacy of the original James Eadie, a 19th‑century brewer and whisky blender famed for his meticulous cask selection and his personal “X” blend. Revived by his descendant Rupert Patrick, the brand has become known for bottlings that balance heritage with contemporary whisky enthusiasm: single casks, small batches, and distillery‑led expressions that showcase character over gimmick. With a focus on transparency, quality maturation, and honest flavour, James Eadie has carved out a reputation as one of the most reliable and quietly exciting names in today’s indie bottling scene.
