This is Holland Road at their most inventive: a London Dry gin delicately infused with locally sourced Sauvignon Blanc and organic green tea. The wine brings bright tropical aromatics and a touch of juicy acidity, while the green tea adds softness, depth, and a silky herbal finish. It’s fragrant, refreshing, and wonderfully contemporary.

Holland Road Distillery is a proudly local Waikato operation, founded just outside Hamilton and built on a commitment to traditional London Dry methods, organic botanicals, and small‑batch craftsmanship. The distillery began with Terry Rillstone in Eureka and has recently passed to neighbours Bill and Rob Silcock, keeping the still (and the spirit) firmly in the community. They steep, macerate, and vapour‑infuse natural botanicals in a custom copper pot still, using neutral sugarcane spirit and avoiding chill‑filtration to preserve full flavour and texture. Their plague‑doctor label nods to ancient herbalists, and their gins lean into that philosophy: authentic, aromatic, and shaped by local teas, wines, fruits, and botanicals
