This is a single refill hogshead of Caol Ila 1992. Like most of the Whiskyland selections, we hope it's pretty obvious why Decadent Drinks would select these casks. This cleaves close to that classical, early 1980s, well-matured Caol Ila style. Beautifully detailed peat smoke flavours, with great coastal freshness and richness of character, balanced by citrus and green tea notes. A specific older Islay whisky profile that we've long adored.
