Distilled in November 2014 and bottled in April 2023, this North Star release comes from Cask Batch 22, matured first in a refill hogshead before receiving an Oloroso sherry finish. Bottled un‑chillfiltered at 53.3%, it represents a rare independent look at one of Scotland’s oldest and most easterly distilleries. Glen Garioch has been producing its robust Highland spirit in Oldmeldrum since 1797, known for its wholesome malt character, honeyed sweetness, and naturally creamy texture.

Only 260 bottles were drawn from this cask, offering a limited glimpse into the distillery’s hearty style enriched by sherry influence. The nose shows dark caramel, sweet malt, and fresh blueberries; the palate follows with ground almonds, creamy vanilla, stewed apples, poached cherries, and soft spice. It finishes medium to long, with fresh citrus and gentle char.
