An innovative Highland single malt finished in hand-selected Calvados casks from Normandy, the Glencadam 17 Year Old Réserve de Calvados beautifully marries the distillery's signature fruit-forward character with the rich orchard flavours of France's famous apple brandy. Aromas of baked apple, honey, sugared almonds, and vanilla lead into a palate of apple strudel, butterscotch, warming spice, dark chocolate, and candied citrus. The finish is long and elegant, revealing notes of orchard blossom, cappuccino, lemon sherbet, and gentle baking spice. A wonderfully distinctive whisky that balances richness, complexity, and freshness in equal measure.
