A 17‑year‑old island malt drawn straight from the cask with all the smoke, swagger, and coastal wildness left gloriously untouched. The nose hits with earthy peat, sea‑spray salinity, and that signature Tobermory funk that seasoned whisky lovers secretly crave. On the palate it’s dense and alive: smouldering embers, leather, dark orchard fruit, and a savoury, almost animal richness that only long maturation can coax out.
Bottled the Blackadder way, flecks of char and all! It delivers a texture that feels almost illicit, like you’ve been handed a dram siphoned directly from the warehouse. It’s raw, it’s characterful, and it’s the kind of whisky that reminds people why Ledaig has a cult following in the first place
