An elegant Speyside malt, orchard fruit character, and its striking reputation as the "Pearl of Speyside." Tormore was built in 1959 and spent much of its life as a prized component in premium blends before recently being reintroduced as a single malt in its own right. The distillery's spirit is known for its bright orchard fruit notes, honeyed sweetness, gentle nuttiness, and elegant texture, a style that comes from a carefully balanced production process designed to create a refined, fruit-forward whisky. Today, under the stewardship of Elixir Distillers, Tormore is reviving its classic house style and finally taking its place among Speyside's great standalone single malts.
