A bright, finely‑etched Chardonnay with citrus blossom, white peach, and a flicker of flinty minerality. The palate is taut yet silky, balancing ripe stonefruit with a cool, river‑stone freshness. Elegant, quietly powerful, and shaped by its gravelly Mangatahi soils. Chis is Chardonnay with real poise and pulse.
Halcyon Days is the passion project of Amy and Olly Hopkinson‑Styles, who met between Spain and London before being pulled home to Hawke’s Bay to make wine and raise sprogs. They’re exceptional storytellers in their own right, so we’ll let them have the last word:
