Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2024, this Tullibardine spent 12 years maturing, including over four years in a single fresh oak barrel, before being selected by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers collection. Only 227 bottles were drawn from the cask, making it a particularly limited release. The fresh oak finish brings lifted sweetness and structure to Tullibardine’s naturally clean, cereal‑driven spirit, adding layers of warm spice, vanilla, and toasted wood alongside gentle citrus and honeyed malt. The result is a bright, expressive Highland single malt with depth, clarity, and a distinctive oak‑forward character.

Infrequent Flyers is the passion project of Alistair Walker, son of the legendary Billy Walker, and one of the most consistently exciting indie bottlers in Scotland today. The label specialises in single casks and small parcels that showcase distillery character in its purest form. No chill‑filtration, no colouring, and always bottled at natural cask strength. Each release leans into individuality rather than house style: quirky finishes, unusual cask types, and distilleries you rarely see outside official bottlings.
The result is a catalogue of whiskies that feel like postcards from the hidden corners of Scotland’s still rooms. Honest, characterful, and often delightfully left‑field.
