Named after the “woods of wonder” that border the vineyards in Trausse, this cuvée is drawn from 60‑year‑old Grenache and 100‑year‑old Carignan vines rooted in siliceous garrigue soils. Certified organic and harvested by hand, the grapes are fermented as whole clusters with native yeasts, then aged in barriques to bring depth and refinement.
In the glass, the 2018 vintage shows a deep garnet hue with aromas of wild blackberries, garrigue herbs, earth, and a touch of spice. The palate is silky yet powerful, layering dark fruit, licorice, and subtle floral notes with fine, grainy tannins and a long, savoury finish. There’s both rustic charm and polished elegance here—a wine that captures the soul of Minervois while remaining utterly drinkable.
