For the first time, Ardbeg has matured whisky in rare Port wine casks, married with classic ex-bourbon barrels, creating a helter-skelter of flavors.
On the nose, expect lavender, incense, leather, and coastal peat smoke, lifted by hints of mint and almond. The palate is full and oily, with a salty menthol freshness, woodsmoke, roasted nuts, tar, and eucalyptus, balanced by sweeter notes of toffee, apple crumble, and fudge. The finish lingers long with bonfire smoke, salted caramel, and cooling eucalyptus, a curious mix that’s both savory and sweet.

Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, Spectacular is a limited-edition showpiece that captures Ardbeg’s playful spirit and smoky mastery.
